The Winchendon Youth Changemakers are hard at work designing and planning themed teen nights at the Bowling Alley and Cafe.

They host teen nights on every third Saturday evening of each month.

Workforce
Development

The Youth Workforce Development Program offers hands-on experience and skill-building opportunities to prepare for future roles in the workforce.
Commit to a schedule, learn about The Hub’s mission, & engage in diverse tasks such as working the Sunshine Café, bowling alley, & more.

Get Involved

Most recently, this team presented to their town's Board of Selectmen and have officially become a Youth Advisory Ad-Hoc Committee in Winchendon. This ensures that their work will continue for years to come and guarantees that youth will have a voice in town government.

Their involvement in town events and initiatives doesn't stop there; they are also fundraising to revitalize a local park for younger children.

They successfully operate the Sunshine Cafe, a youth-led establishment designed by teens, for teens, which is on its way to becoming financially self-sustaining.

This team has made incredible strides in the past year, demonstrating their deep commitment to creating healthy social spaces for teens in their town. Since 2020, they have passionately pursued this mission, and it shows in their numerous achievements.

In May, 2024, they organized their 4th annual Taste of Winchendon event, bringing together over 300 residents to celebrate culture and community. 

Each month, they host wildly popular Teen Nights, each with a unique theme, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for their peers.
