About the event
Creative Space 4 Arts
A Place to Create, Explore, and Belong
Creative Space 4 Arts is a weekly program for middle school students in grades 6–8, meeting Thursdays from 3:00–5:00 PM at The HUB.
Throughout the school year, students explore a wide variety of creative activities including drawing, painting, mixed media, paper mâché, clay and pottery, creative writing, poetry, illustrated books, and other hands-on projects.
What makes the program special is that students help shape what happens. They identify their interests, plan projects, make creative choices, and learn alongside one another in a supportive environment.
Creative Space 4 Arts is about more than making art. It helps young people build confidence, friendships, leadership skills, self-expression, and a sense of belonging. Some students come to create, some come to try something new, and others simply enjoy having a calm, welcoming place to spend time with peers.
