A light dinner and refreshments will be provided.
The HUB, in partnership with the Winchendon Community Action Committee, is proud to host a special community screening of Americonned on Thursday, June 11th at 7:00 PM at The HUB, 5 Summer Drive, Winchendon, MA.
We are honored to welcome David Pedersen, writer and producer of Americonned, who will be joining us for the evening. David is known for bold and culturally meaningful storytelling, with film credits including Super Size Me and Americonned. He is also the host of the Bigfoot Manifesto Podcast.
We believe Americonned is an important film because it speaks directly to the struggles facing our communities and many of our neighbors. The film shares the powerful and personal stories of working families, low-wage workers, caregivers, and individuals facing eviction, while also examining the larger systems and root causes behind these struggles.
